As my cricket playing days drew to an end, a lifelong enjoyment of sport led me to take up cycling in 2008. Modest commutes to work gradually led to some touring and many cycle events. This provided a perfect opportunity to work on my personal fitness, something I take seriously. My proudest achievement to date is completing the UK End to End between Land’s End and John O’Groats in 2012.
Since 2010, I have involved myself in the local community helping to raise funds for projects that benefit vulnerable people. My continued association with Challow Cricket Club is more sedate these days but I fulfil a coaching role and enjoy watching from the pavilion.
I now spend time enjoying the countryside and training for triathlon.
