Having followed Phil’s LEJOG through Facebook, I volunteered to help with proof-reading early versions of each chapter. What motivated me was the admiration I have for people who do things for charity in general, people who take on such huge personal challenges like Phil, and people who live with Cri-du-Chat syndrome. I met the family of Matias when our children started nursery 8 years ago, and I know how important the support of groups such as the CdCSSG is to them and other families. It’s been a thoroughly enjoyable job and I hope the book raises lots of funds for this cause.
